Changes to S&P 400 (MidCap) index during 2017
During the year 2017, 54 index constituents were shuffled.
In December, Delphi Technologies Plc (DLPH) replaced Frontier Communications (FTR). In November, MKS Instruments Inc (MKSI) replaced Brocade Communications Systems (BRCD). In September, these companies were added to the index: Six Flags Entertainment Corp (SIX), Sterling Bancorp (STL), Sanderson Farms Inc (SAFM), ILG Inc (ILG), The Brink’s Co. (BCO) & Callon Petroleum (CPE). These components were removed: PARAXEL International Corp (PRXL), Oil States Int’l Inc. (OIS), Cabela’s Inc. (CAB), Cadence Design Systems Inc. (CDNS), VCA Inc. (WOOF) & WebMD Health Corp. (WBMD).
In August, Sabra Health Care REIT Inc, CoreSite Realty REIT Corp and AutoNation Inc replaced Care Capital Properties Inc., NeuStar Inc. and FTI Consulting Inc. In July, Mallinckrodt, Murphy Oil Corp, Bed Bath & Beyond Inc, Transocean Ltd, JBG SMITH Properties, Knight-Swift Transportation and Core Laboratories replaced ResMed Inc., Packaging Corp Of America, A. O. Smith Corp, Duke Realty Corp, Chico’s FAS Inc., Kate Spade & Co and Panera Bread Co.
