Changes to S&P 600 (SmallCap) index during 2017
During the year 2017, 66 index components were changed.
In December, Corcept Therapeutics Inc, Community Healthcare Trust Inc, Cutera Inc, Easterly Government Properties Inc and Frontier Communications Corp were added to the index. These companies replaced Gigamon, Ruby Tuesday, Tesco, PharMerica and Contango Oil & Gas Co. In November, CONSOL Energy Inc, PDF Solutions Inc, Invesco Mortgage Capital REIT Inc and Tactile Systems Technology Inc replaced Iconix Brand Group, Black Box, MKS Instruments and Lumos Networks.
In October, Axcelis Technologies Inc, NMI Holdings Inc, Pacific Premier Bancorp Inc, Par Pacific Holdings Inc and Photronics Inc replaced Landauer, SciClone Pharmaceuticals, Parkway Inc, Forestar and Atwood Oceanics. In September, KEMET Corp, Oil States International Inc, Third Point Reinsurance Ltd, Meta Financial Group Inc, ARMOUR Residential Reit Inc and Whitestone REIT replaced Astoria, Sterling Bancorp, Sanderson Garms, ILG Group, The Brink’s Co. and CDI Corp. In August, Control4 Corp, Barracuda Networks Inc, Vonage Holdings Corp and FRI Consulting Inc replaced Albany Molecular, Sabra Health Care, CoreSite Realty and Northern Oil & Gas.
Between May and July, these companies were added to the index: Chicos FAS Inc, SolarEdge Technologies Inc, National Storage Affiliates Trust, McDermott International Inc, Armada Hoffler Properties REIT Inc, J.C. Penney Inc, Time Inc, Chatham Lodging Trust REIT Trust, Independence Realty Inc Trust, Maxlinear Inc, Noble Plc, Lantheus Holdings Inc, Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust and LeMaitre Vascular Inc. These components were removed: Stein Mart, Knight Transportation, Blackbaud, Medidata Solutions, Pinnacle Financial, Tuesday Morning, Hornbeck Offshore Services, Home BancShares, Ultratech, Exar, Celadon, Tidewater, Headwaters and First NBC Bank.
