Terms and conditions of use

These terms govern your use of siblisresearch.com and of the data published on it. Using the site means you accept them.

The short version. The figures and charts published free on this site may be reused with attribution. The subscription databases may not be redistributed. Nothing here is investment advice.

1. Who we are

Siblis Research Ltd is a company registered in Finland, with research and management in Helsinki and data operations in Manila. Contact: support@siblisresearch.com.

2. The free data on this site

The valuation figures published on the dataset pages, and the charts on those pages, are made available free of charge under the following conditions:

  • Attribution. Credit Siblis Research and link to the page the figure or chart came from.
  • Charts may be reproduced in print or online, unmodified, with that attribution.
  • Figures may be quoted, charted and used in research, articles and presentations.
  • Academic and press use is expressly permitted, and citation formats are given on each page.

What is not permitted is taking the free pages as a substitute for the product: systematic scraping, bulk extraction, or republishing the figures as a dataset or feed of your own, whether free or paid. The free pages exist so that the data can be read and checked, not so that it can be re-hosted.

3. The subscription databases

Access to the Global Equity Valuations Database and the historical index constituents database is licensed, not sold, for the number of users stated in your plan. Under that licence you may:

  • use the data internally, including in models, reports and client-facing work your organisation
  • produces;
  • cite and quote it in published research, with attribution.

You may not resell it, redistribute it, publish it as a dataset, make it available through your own API or product, or share credentials or API keys outside the licensed seats. An API key is issued to a subscriber and remains the subscriber's responsibility.

If you want to show the data to your own users, that is a separate licence and it exists. Putting the figures into an application, a client-facing dashboard, an AI assistant or agent, a research platform, a public website, a newsletter with paying subscribers or a published work is redistribution, and it is licensed separately rather than prohibited. It is priced on what you are building and how many people will see it, and it carries an attribution requirement. See data licensing, or email sales@siblisresearch.com and describe the product — you will get a straight answer.

Redistribution licensing covers the Global Equity Valuations Database only. The historical index constituents database is licensed for your own research and is not available for redistribution.

If your intended use is not clearly covered here, ask before you build on it. Most requests are straightforward and the answer is usually yes.

4. Accuracy

The data is researched, sourced and calculated in-house, and goes through automated and manual validation. We take accuracy seriously and correct errors promptly. We cannot, however, warrant that every figure is free of error, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the data.

Figures are point-in-time: a historic reading reflects what was known at the time and is not revised when a company later restates its results. This is deliberate, and it is set out in the data methodology.

5. Not investment advice

Nothing published on this site or supplied through a subscription is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Valuation ratios describe what a market has cost; they do not tell you what it will do. Investment decisions taken using this data are yours alone.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the site and the API available continuously, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, provider outages and rate limits may all interrupt access. Where an interruption is material and prolonged, contact us.

7. Copyright

The content of this site, the databases, and the presentation and arrangement of the data are the property of Siblis Research Ltd. The permissions granted in sections 2 and 3 are the extent of what is permitted; all other rights are reserved.

8. Cookies and personal data

How the site uses cookies and what personal data is collected is set out in the privacy policy.

9. Changes

These terms may change. The version published here is the one in force, and material changes affecting subscribers will be notified by email.
